Super Bowl Champion and runner-up both lost first exhibition match

It seems none of the last NFL Super Bowl contenders started with the right foot, as both the Giants and the Patriots lost their own exhibition matches. NY fell against the Lions by 13-10 and New England saw their first defeat against the Baltimore Ravens.

So when it comes to NFL gambling, these first introductory football games are really important as you get to see what the current conditions of the teams are.

I think the Patriots are still a strong contender for the NFL championship, but now that Brett Favre has joined the Jets, the AFC East has suddenly turned tougher than in the previous pro football season where the Pats had it easy against NY and other weak teams like the Dolphins and the Bills.

On the other hand, the Giants were considered by critics as one of the weakest teams at the NFC East before winning this past Super Bowl, and now that division has turned into one of the most difficult of the NFL, with the almighty Cowboys, the Eagles and the Redskins, who have a renewed roster and have good chances of winning the NFC East.

So who will make it further? I would say the Patriots, but the Pats have played just one exhibition game and it might be just too early to talk on that matter…

Chargers for NFL champions!

Chargers for NFL champions!

I want to be ready for this coming NFL football season, so I am filling my diferent sportsbook NFL betting accounts in order to start making some future wagers.

If you ask me, I will say that San Diego has a great deal of chances to make it to the playoffs and why not… to the Super Bowl. On the other hand, if Brett Favre joins the Vikings, this is going to become one of the toughest teams in the league, and one to pay attention to.

I don’t see the Patriots coming with a perfect NFL Season this time around; in fact, I think they will have a hard time dealing with the renewed Dolphins to win the AFC East.

I heard some unbelievable stories about the Saints going to the Super Bowl… but I guess there were just a bunch of New Orleans fans who haven’t lost the faith and are expecting for a miracle to take place… well they are the Saints after all, some prayers have never hurt anybody…

Another team that is quite strong for the coming NFL football season are the Jaguars, but they have the Colts and Peyton Manning on their way in order to win the AFC south, so I will say that this is probably one of the top-3 toughest divisions in the league right now…

I think I will start with a future betting line for the champion of the AFC, and that sit is reserved for the Chargers this time…

Who is the best quarterback in NFL history?

It’s funny that when you look back into NFL football history, you find players like Dan Marino, a pick #27 of a first round draft , who in spite of his late selection, became an emblem of the NFL football league.

The famous NFL quarterback spent all of his career with the Dolphins wearing the now-retired jersey number 13 and is currently a member of the NFL football hall of fame, and has held almost all NFL passing records.

Despite of being selected for the Pro Bowl 9 times, Dan Marino never achieved a Super Bowl victory, though he led the Dolphins to the playoffs a few times.

Brett Favre was the only quarterback to surpass a few of the records imposed by Marino at the NFL, among those, Favre broke the Most Attempts, Career: 8,358 record,  the NFL Most Completions, Career: 4,967 record and the Most Touchdown Passes, Career: 420.

So when you ask yourself, who the all-time best QB in NFL history is, both Brett Favre and Dan Marino are pretty tight there at the top, but let’s remember that the two quarterbacks had played in different decades, and NFL football has somehow changed along the way, so just by a personal opinion, I would say Marino has an edge over Favre.
