All through out August most NFL teams were congregating to conduct the normal NFL training camps, although some teams do have Off Season Training sessions, most of the teams start theirs a few week before the NFL season starts. The NFL has also requested coaches to monitor high risk players: those with a prior history of heat illness, overweight or obese players, those with a medical history of gastrointestinal, diabetic, kidney, or heart problems; they have also recommended these NFL players wear net-type jerseys, avoid sweatshirts and remove helmets unless they are playing.
